"Muhammad Iqbal Hossain Sabuj" has started a program to deliver food items to 15,000 needy families with no income as a private initiative.
There are many fears among the people who are confined to their homes due to the fear of Corona. Due to lack of work, the very poor are also in trouble. Even in this danger, most of the public representatives are not on their side. From parliamentarians, and mayors to chairman-members of the union council, everyone is in the same situation.
The National Parliament of Bangladesh consists of a total of 350 seats, of which members are elected through direct voting from 300 seats. The remaining 50 seats are reserved for women.
But if the Members of Parliament had been present and had taken measures to help on their own initiative, the common people would have been more courageous in this time of danger.
By maintaining a safe social distance, they can rightly stand by the common people.
